Israel Travelogue 2004
The holy land of Israel, or Palestine to some, was the hotbed of wars and religious conquests for thousands of years. And it still is today. I had the good fortune to be asked if I wanted to join a small, closely knit christian church group in their pilgrimage to Israel, which I agreed without hesitation. It was a fantastic journey peering into the lives of people observing ancient customs and visiting monuments that were more ancient still.
Europe Travelogue 2005 5 photographers - 6000 kilometres overland - 40 cities and towns - 12 countries - 20 days - And the journey of a lifetime. This is a record of our journey through Europe from the Ardennes to the Bosphorus, in search of the inspiration that brought Europe to the heights of its glory and beyond. The historical and cultural treasures that Empires were built upon, and wars, started over. Follow us on this journey of discovery, as we traverse the width of the continent, and seek the treasures that lie within the paths less travelled. Every day. 4th to 24th June 2005. Our destination: Europe.
Moken Doculogue
In 2003 I went with a group of volunteers from Singapore to the Surin Islands off the coast of Thailand, to join with a team from Chulalongkorn University of Bangkok on an documentary expedition to record the lifestyles and traditions of the Moken - people of the sea.
A relatively new professional photographer of six years, James is filled with the raw energy and creative drive that gives him an edge in the assignments he undertake. Coming from a mechanical engineering background, he has a strong connection with all things industrial and architectural. Although thru the years serving different roles in stills and movie production industry and developing a strong foundation in orthordox photography, James still posseses a highly experimentive spirit, constantly on the lookout for new challenges and trying out new ideas and methods to create images that can offer different perspectives of the world we live in. Having travelled widely on assignments, he is extremely independent and is trusted by clients to deliver what they require and more. James is currently based in Singapore and continues to accept international assignments.
