How often should I calibrate my monitor?

You should validate and calibrate your monitor every 1 to 2 months. If you work in a colour-critical field or notice changes, validation should be done more often to detect colour shifts before they get too inaccurate.

What is the difference between EIZO and non-EIZO monitor calibration?

EIZO monitors have excellent built-in colour-management systems, and we have a good working relationship with the brand. Non-EIZO monitors may need more adjustments to achieve good colour performance.

Do EIZO monitors need professional calibration then?

While EIZO CG-series monitors have excellent built-in colour-management systems along with its own sensor, there are other variables that might cause it to display inaccurate colours. Reasons include cable problems or misconfigured settings. It is under these circumstances that we can help you get your EIZO monitor back to optimal working condition.
